My Ideal Client

I work well with people who find themselves caught between who they've learned to be and who they long to become. Often questioning inherited beliefs, longstanding patterns or ways of being that no longer fit, they seek a life that feels more authentically their own. They long to feel more grounded in themselves, more connected in relationship and more at home in their own lives.

My Approach to Helping

I believe meaningful change often begins by bringing a different quality of attention to our experience—one grounded in openness, compassion and a willingness to be surprised by what we discover. Often, the patterns that bring us to therapy developed for good reasons, even if they no longer serve us as they once did. Rather than rushing to change or eliminate them, I believe there is value in slowing down and listening carefully to what our thoughts, emotions, behaviors and bodies may be trying to communicate. My work is collaborative and draws from somatic therapy, parts work, mindfulness, meditation and breathwork. Together, we'll cultivate awareness of your present experience and deepen your connection to the wisdom of your body. As awareness grows, so does the possibility for choice. Through this process, we can begin to loosen the grip of inherited beliefs, old adaptations and familiar patterns while strengthening authenticity, self-understanding and trust in yourself.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Outside the therapy room, I'm a partner, parent, and lover of nature, music, film, good food and deep conversations. I'm a first-generation college graduate whose path toward this work was shaped by my own journey of reclaiming my voice, deconstructing inherited ideas about masculinity and learning to embrace sensitivity as a source of strength rather than something to overcome. I value curiosity, humility and lifelong learning. I'm committed to anti-oppressive practice and recognize that our lives are profoundly shaped by culture, history, identity and systems of power. The more I learn, the more I appreciate the limits of my own perspective and the importance of meeting others with openness and a genuine desire to understand. At heart, I remain drawn to questions of what it means to be human and how we learn to live more fully as ourselves.
