My Ideal Client

I offer individual art therapy to adults and specialize in the treatment of developmental trauma, neurodivergence and chronic pain/illness. I support folks in working through the pain points of life through art and reconnect with themselves along the way.

How I Can Help You

I firmly believe that all people are unique and all people are worthy of care. I feel honored everyday to create a space for others to move through the tender process of therapy. My aim is to help folks build new relationships with pain and suffering, at the same time that they invite in presence, connection, meaning, and creativity. Through the blend of art therapy and talk therapy, my practice might offer you the missing puzzle piece you need to access this important work for yourself. Read on and reach out if this feels right to you

My Approach to Helping

Within a couple of sessions, you will probably learn how open and engaged I am with what you are bringing into the room. I truly believe that you are the expert on how our work unfolds, even if you don’t feel that’s true. I will often offer choices like “Do we want to follow this thread around your work frustrations?” or “Do we want to return to this recent art in progress exploring your relationship with your partner?” When we start getting into the weeds of processing, I have favorite approaches to bring into the mix alongside art therapy, especially Gestalt therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Compassion Focused therapy. I love offering the nerdy science behind mental health, often pulling nuggets from Interpersonal Neurobiology, Attachment Theory, and Polyvagal Theory. I am continuously assessing, exploring, and re-adjusting to fine-tune your therapy experience so you leave each session feeling safe, seen, and supported.
