My Ideal Client

During your individual therapy session, we will work one-on-one to explore thoughts, feelings, habits and experiences to gain a better understanding of yourself and to develop coping skills to achieve goals and improve your well-being. For Couples, we will work to identify effective ways to repair and improve your relationship, resolve conflicts, learn how to communicate, break negative cycles, heal from betrayal, and increase intimacy.

My Approach to Helping

I place a strong emphasis on developing insight and empathy within a non-judgmental and compassionate environment. From a strengths-based perspective, I work to empower clients to gain the skills necessary to address and resolve problems, change behaviors, improve relationships and navigate and cope with stressors.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Boise State University and bring over 15 years of experience as both a nurse and a social service provider. My background includes providing therapy, case management, and care coordination for adolescents, adults, and families. My therapeutic approach is grounded in medical, health, and nutrition psychology. I support individuals and couples navigating life transitions, managing complex relationship dynamics, understanding the connection between nutrition and mental health, and addressing symptoms of anxiety and depression. ​ I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker through the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers and I am an active member of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).
