My clients are often smart, scrappy, capable people who sometimes doubt those qualities. Anxiety or panic often gets their attention, along with noticing patterns in relationships that feel unbalanced or unsustainable—leaving them lonely, resentful, or disconnected.
Specialties
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that helps people heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. It uses guided eye movements or other bilateral stimulation while focusing on memories, emotions, or beliefs. This process helps the brain reprocess stuck memories so they feel less intense and disruptive. EMDR can reduce symptoms like anxiety, flashbacks, and negative self-beliefs, supporting lasting emotional relief and resilience.
IFS (Internal Family Systems) is a therapeutic approach that views the mind as made up of “parts,” each with its own feelings and roles—like protectors, critics, or wounded inner children. These parts often carry burdens from past experiences. IFS helps people access their core Self—a calm, compassionate inner leader—to understand and heal their parts. By fostering curiosity and care, IFS reduces inner conflict, builds self-trust, and promotes lasting emotional healing.
Relational therapy focuses on the healing power of relationships—both between therapist and client and in the client’s life. It views emotional struggles as often rooted in past relationship patterns and helps clients understand how these patterns show up today. Through an authentic, supportive therapeutic relationship, clients can explore trust, boundaries, and vulnerability, fostering healthier connections with themselves and others while repairing old wounds carried into present relationships
