My Background

My work as a therapist has been focused on the goal of helping children and families thrive. For the last 5 years I have worked in a medical clinic with Nurse Midwives, OBGYNs, and other providers as a therapist. In this role I provided mental health therapy to treat mood disorders, and provided support with various issues related to parenting including adjustment, navigating high risk pregnancies and parenting children with medical issues, grief and loss related to pregnancy loss and/or infertility, and healing from birth related trauma. I am licensed as a Perinatal Mental Health Clinician (PMH-C) through Postpartum Support Int'l and I started my career working for over ten years as Mental Health Therapist in school-based health clinics. That experience was foundational to my work supporting folks in all stages of their journeys to either become parents, parent children in their care, or move through traumatic grief and loss.

I value and respect the diversity of individuals, and my practice is rooted anti-oppressive and anti-racist frameworks. I am committed to lifelong learning and cultural humility, and make this a priority in my professional and personal education and growth. I welcome individuals from all cultures, races, abilities, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities to work with me.
