This narrative therapy group is designed for survivors of trauma and abuse. Participants utilize the themes of world myths to view their past from a more balanced perspective, through a more positive lens. Weekly readings and discussions of myths in-session, and short writing assignments between sessions.
This is a closed 12-week group that utilizes tenets of Narrative Therapy to help trauma survivors re-write their narrative in a more positive frame. Activities include reading and
discussing world myths and their themes, discussing how they are relevant to everyday life, and a writing exercise between sessions. Pre-group interview required.
