My Ideal Client

Many of my clients come to therapy knowing they have experienced trauma, such as sexual, physical, or emotional abuse. Others simply know that something feels off. They may struggle with self-doubt, shame, people-pleasing, difficulty trusting themselves, chronic anxiety, or feel disconnected and "different." Some are beginning to understand how dysfunctional family dynamics or harmful religious experiences have shaped their lives. Whatever your experience, I am here for you.

My Approach to Helping

I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to land in a world that can often feel overwhelming and insensitive. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are - without fear of being dismissed, misunderstood, or feeling “too much” or “too sensitive.” I want to be someone in your corner, helping you explore, heal, and experience growth and resilience. I take a genuine and human approach to therapy while also incorporating evidence-based modalities. Together, we will explore your story with compassion and sensitivity so that you can gain confidence, internal security, and clarity.

More About the People I Treat

My greatest passion lies with helping people recover from trauma. I have experience working with people navigating life after sexual assault, interpersonal violence, childhood abuse and neglect, narcissistic relationships, and more. I want to create a safe space where you can show up just as you are and rebuild a sense of confidence and safety. I also have a particular interest in religious trauma. High-control, shaming, or spiritually harmful environments can leave a lasting mark. Most people without this lived experience do not understand how deeply it can affect identity, relationships, and connection to body, sexuality, and meaning. I have this lived experience - purity culture and high-control religion deeply affected me. My goal is to help you explore your values and beliefs and make sense of your unique experience. Finally, as a Lesbian, I love supporting other queer people - particularly those navigating the intersection of sexuality, gender identity, and religious trauma.
