My Ideal Client

I have found that I work best with people wanting to honor their positive assets while making changes that will support new goals. Those feeling stuck, wanting to dive deep, willing to do work outside of our sessions to create change in their lives. While my approach is gentle and respectful, I will help you face your concerns frankly and honestly. I consider our therapeutic relationship to be the most important factor in our work together.

How I Can Help You

With compassion and respect, I create a non-judgmental space for you to improve your relationship with yourself and others. I work beside you as you discover the strengths you already have, helping you to dig deep and allow your authentic self to emerge where you are in your healing journey. I help you focus as you navigate new beginnings, finding what has been holding you back and getting in your way. I'm with you as you create a blueprint to get you there. After spending over a decade working at a world renowned substance use treatment center, I feel confident in helping you address addiction and the challenges that go along with it, such as grief, unresolved trauma, anxiety, and feelings of being overwhelmed by day to day life. I help families of loved ones struggling with substance use, and the related issues challenging each member.

My Values as a Therapist

In addition to my training to become a licensed professional counselor in the state of Oregon, I am passionate about the issues of homelessness and social justice in our local area. My ongoing trainings have focused on ethics, multicultural issues, mindfulness, family dynamics, trauma, and compulsive behaviors. Continuing education and life experience inform the way I visualize human struggles and the way I approach care.
