My Ideal Client

Are you tired of your anxiety controlling your thoughts and behaviors? Are the hardships in your life driving you to escape in ways you don't want to? Do your emotions often get the best of you, causing problems in your relationships? If you answered yes to any of the above, know that you don’t have to struggle alone. Together, we can work to identify patterns of behavior that have led to problems for you, then discover healthier ways of being so you can lead a more fulfilling and happier life.

My Approach to Helping

I believe that the key to your success in counseling is a strong connection and relationship between you and I. As your therapist, I will use therapeutic techniques like Restoration Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy so I can be a system of support in your struggles with anxiety, addiction, sexuality, and interpersonal relationships. These research based methods have been proven to be effective and they can help you become the person you want to be. In my therapy room, you will get to decide what your goals are and you won’t be pushed to talk about anything you don’t want to talk about. This is your safe space to take on anything you want to, and I’ll be right there with you to help guide you on that journey.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have been lucky to travel and explore cultures all across the globe and have come to understand that there is no singular way to be happy or to live a fulfilling life. But rather, happiness comes from being comfortable with who you are and being true to the core values you believe in. And I believe that people deserve to be accepted, seen, and valued for who they are without judgement regardless of their race, religion, ethnicity, body type, socioeconomic status, ability, sexuality, or relationships style. However, I recognize that the world can be a cruel place and many of us have been judged based on things unrelated to the content of our character. While we can't change all the negative things in the world, we can work together to prevent those external judgments from turning us into a person we are unhappy with.
