My Ideal Client

I work with individual adults or couples (18+) who may be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready for change. Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, obsessive thoughts, relationship stress, or life transitions, therapy can offer a space to better understand yourself and move toward the life you want.

My Approach to Helping

My therapeutic approach is integrative and trauma-informed, grounded in the belief that effective therapy must consider the broader systems, such as the familial, cultural, and societal infleunces that shape our lived experiences. Whether you are navigating past trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or a sense of disconnection, I strive to provide a space where you feel genuinely heard, supported, and empowered. My role is to walk alongside you as we explore both the patterns that keep you stuck and the possibilities that move you forward. I work from a systemic lens, considering the relational and environmental factors that impact one's wellbeing. As each individual and their presenting problem is unique, so is the approach that I take with my clients. This integrative approach lets me tailor support to what works best for you, ensuring it’s both individualized and clinically grounded. If you’re interested in exploring therapy or have questions about how it might fit your needs, f

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that our experiences shape us, but theyt do not have to define us. I have a strong passion for supporting individuals and couples who have experienced trauma and understand the courage it takes to begin healing. My approach is uprooted in the belief that people deserve a space where they feel safe, understood, and empowered to process difficult experiences at their own pace. I value authenticity, compassion, and the idea that meaningful change can happen when people feel supported in reconnecting with themselves and the life they want to build.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • EMDR External link

EMDR is a therapy approach that helps individuals process trauma, distressing experiences, and difficult memories that may feel stuck or overwhelming. Using guided bilateral stimulation, EMDR supports the brain in reprocessing these experiences to reduce emotional distress and promote healing.Being trained in EMDR, I am able to assist you through this process of emotional healing.

  • Anger Management Therapy External link

I have utilized Cognitive Behavior Therapy skills alongside Mindfulness techniques and Emotionally Focused Therapy concepts to help clients understand the deeper-rooted issues to their anger, how to control their dysregulated emotions and change the behavioral patterns that erupt due to them.

  • Attachment Theory External link

I used Emotionally Focused Therapy and Attachment Theory concepts and techniques in both individual and couples therapy sessions. I believe the issues that clients present with revolve around family and relationship functioning beginning in childhood and continuing through adulthood. Attachment theory highlights all of this to make meaningful change within one's life.

  • Emotionally Focused External link

EFT is an evidence-based approach that helps individuals and couples better understand emotions, strengthen connections, and create more secure, supportive relationship patterns. Although developed and used commonly within couples therapy, I utilize these concepts with both my individual and couples clients when it seems right.
