My Ideal Client

You’re stressed, overwhelmed, and finding it difficult to find enjoyment in most activities. You are struggling, and you don't know what to do. You are starting to worry about your health, your relationships, and you wonder if anything will ever feel right again. You’ve spent countless hours searching for answers on the internet – but you are left feeling lost and alone, and you desperately want help. I can help you.

My Approach to Helping

I will help you process your emotions and experiences and help you evolve your strategies for coping with life events and transitions. We will work together to help you build a secure relationship with yourself, to build your self awareness and confidence so you can lead your life authentically, courageously, and compassionately. I bring warmth, acceptance, humor and compassion when working with you. I will combine my own lived experiences, my genuine love for helping people, and my training to best serve you. I believe every person has the ability to change and evolve, I am honored and excited to walk beside you in this journey.

Why I Became a Therapist

This is my second career - my first was as a team leader in the corporate world where my ability to see people's potential and to help people grow/develop were put to good use...but there was always a nagging feeling that I was not fulfilling my life purpose and that I needed to serve people in a different way. It was the guidance of a very astute career counselor who helped me reflect on my interests, talents, passions, and life priorities. It was the realization that without the help of our amazing couples counselor, my wife and I would have likely divorced just a few years after the birth of our beautiful son (we are pushing +27 years now – but who’s counting!). It was so many things that came together and led me to this incredible profession where I am humbled and honored to hear people’s stories, to walk alongside them, to challenge them when necessary, and to support them in navigating life’s challenges.
