My Ideal Client

People who have experienced Narcissistic Abuse have been exploited, rejected and devalued. Often this begins with family of origin and in adulthood tends to carry over into romantic relationships and friendships. Kids who grow up with Narcissistic Abuse become adults with unresolved identity trauma and confusion. This is often displayed as self-hatred, harm and abandonment. Boundary formation becomes impossible, leading to interpersonal struggles and difficulty forming secure attachments.

My Approach to Helping

Narcissistic Abuse Recovery is deeply intense personal work that will transform your life. It involves breaking the cycle of generations of abuse and dysfunction. Recovery work is a pro-active process of establishing a treatment plan focused on your identity and relationship goals. Most clients see significant changes after 4-6 months of dedicated weekly therapy. Change is painful, but not nearly as painful as spending an unfulfilled life in a narcissistic family system or relationship. Heart Thyself is dedicated to helping you through this pain into the life you would choose to live. You can do it!
