My Ideal Client

I welcome anyone carrying the weight of stress or trauma, whether from childhood experiences, family dynamics, or cumulative stress in a world that hasn’t always felt safe. I’m especially attuned to adults who have their own trauma history and are caring for a child who has experienced trauma, and teens who are struggling with anxiety, depression, or other trauma related symptoms. My sweet spot is helping people make sense of their experiences and build an empowered relationship with themselves.

My Background and Approach

As a therapist, my goal is to connect with people and collaborate to help them navigate the impact of overwhelming experiences with compassion, clarity, and a steady presence. My approach blends evidence‑informed practices with a deep respect for each person’s story, and I’m committed to creating a space where clients and supervisees feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. I utilize a variety of research-based approaches including CBT, TF-CBT, CPT, IFS, and mindfulness. I work from a client-centered, trauma-informed lens and have extensive experience treating trauma, depression, and anxiety with children, adolescents, and adults. I have experience working in a Child Advocacy Center, residential treatment, therapeutic foster care, and outpatient settings. I have supervised MSW interns and CSWAs through to licensure.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe deeply in the power of safe, attuned relationships to transform lives. My path into this field wasn’t accidental; it grew out of witnessing how trauma shapes people in ways both visible and invisible, and feeling called to be the kind of steady, compassionate support I wished more people had access to. Over the years, I’ve trained extensively in trauma‑informed modalities, attachment‑based work, and evidence‑supported treatments that help clients rewrite the stories they’ve carried for far too long. I have worked with children, teens, and adults in a variety of settings, and I’ve had the privilege of supporting clinicians —helping them grow their confidence, intuition, and therapeutic voice. At the core of my work is a belief in dignity, agency, and the inherent resilience of every person who walks through my door. My hope is that when people read about me, they feel not just my qualifications, but my humanity—because that’s what truly shapes the work.
