My Ideal Client

I am trained in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, a somatic therapy modality that utilizes body-centered approaches and attachment theory to restore the nervous system for the treatment of trauma, attachment distress, and related symptoms. I specialize in working with clients experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, dissociation, addiction, and those in the LGBTQ+ community or non-monogamous/polyamorous relationships. I work with individuals, those in relationships, and families.

My Approach to Helping

My practice is rooted in experiential modalities that encourage awareness of the mind-body experience. Sessions with me are unique in that we will explore mindfulness states together, through sensing into the body, experimenting with movement and self-expression, and processing the emotions, beliefs, and stories that emerge. My approach is slow and gentle, grounded in the belief that lasting healing and transformation come from within you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a cisgender gay man, I have lived experience within queer community and am committed to practicing from an intersectional, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed lens. I strive to hold an inclusive and affirming space that honors the experiences of all marginalized identities. Whatever your background may be, I invite you to bring your authentic self into the room.
