My Approach to Helping
Hi there, thanks for taking the time to learn a bit about the work we can do together. I have practiced as a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist for 13 years, and gained invaluable experience treating teens and families, individual adults, couples, and adult siblings. In our work together, we will explore the influence of significant relationships on your development, as well as your current mental health. We will consider the impact of trauma if relevant, learn about how our nervous system plays a role in our well being, and focus closely on uncovering the emotional landscape of distress you may be experiencing.
I am flexible and collaborative in creating a treatment plan that includes emotion-focused work, IFS, building self compassion, and trauma-focused recovery.
