My Ideal Client

Taking the first step to reach out to a therapist can seem daunting, but it is my promise to my clients that I will make the process of starting therapy and beyond as stress-free as possible. Some of my client interests, and areas that I have experience and education in are: depression, anxiety, stress, life transitions, couples issues, ADHD, Autism, chronic health issues and/or pain, substance abuse, weight and body image issues, working with those who have traumatic brain injuries.

I believe it is more important than ever to consider your mental health needs. I have over 10 years of experience working in mental health as a therapist, leader, advocate, educator, and researcher. I would love the opportunity to partner with you on your mental health and well-being needs. I am passionate about finding ways to work with individuals, families, teens, children, and adults in order to have their lives be more fulfilling, productive, motivated and healthy. I understand the challenges that are face in individuals, families, marriages, and as a parent. I am committed to working with my clients in establishing their goals and how to best work towards achieving them. My goal is to work with my clients in order to provide a safe, healthy, accepting and collaborative environment. In addition to my experience as a therapist I have worked for many years in higher education developing a deep understanding and commitment to the field of psychology.

I am passionate about finding ways to work with individuals, families, teens, children, and adults in order to have their lives be more fulfilling, productive, motivated, and healthy. As well as having my master's degree in Clinical Psychology, I am also a certified suicide prevention and awareness instructor and feel passionately about speaking on this. My research and experience interests include: stress, burnout, developmental theory, mental health, positive psychology, family dynamics, and suicide prevention. As a wife and mother of three boys, I understand the challenges that are faced in families, marriages, and as a parent.
