My Ideal Client

As a Southeast Asian American, I hold deep compassion for the challenges of balancing identity, family expectations, and life between cultures. I believe it’s essential to recognize how culture and systemic oppression impact our mental health, so I approach therapy through a lens of empowerment, healing, and liberation. My ideal clients are BIPOC individuals and young adults who may struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, identity concerns, relationship, and life transitions.

How I Can Help You

My primary goal as a therapist is to help clients reconnect with their most authentic selves, which often gets silenced or pushed aside by past wounds. I offer a warm, welcoming space where you can explore how your lived experiences have shaped who you are, cultivate safety within your body and relationships, and build resilience and inner strength to navigate life’s ebbs and flows. I encourage my clients to meet vulnerability with self-trust and to explore both their inner world and the world around them with depth and curiosity. I integrate relational-cultural, attachment-based, person-centered, ACT, and CBT approaches. I utilize a trauma-informed lens that helps me understand how overwhelming experiences or not receiving enough of what you needed emotionally or relationally can shape the way you think, see yourself, relate to others, and navigate the world around you. We can explore how these patterns may show up in your self-worth, relationships, and ways of coping.

Why I Became a Therapist

I strongly believe everyone is capable of healing and deserves to be seen, heard, and accepted for who they are. I feel honored to walk alongside BIPOC and other marginalized folks as they navigate their healing journeys, but more deeply, to witness the resilience and powerful stories they carry, and to support them in reconnecting with their inner voice and wisdom. My work is rooted in culturally attuned, trauma-informed, and decolonizing practices. I strive to create a space to affirm all identities and stand in solidarity with those navigating in a world that does not always make space for them.
