My Background and Approach

My style is direct yet gentle and I speak from an honest heart. I pull from various models but most often utilize Narrative Therapy, CBT, and mindfulness based techniques. Through a combination of these modalities, I work to help clients re-write unhealthy narratives and adjust patterns or ways of thinking that reinforce these inaccurate self-views.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I hold a masters in Marriage and Family Therapy through Lewis and Clark and am a licensed therapist in the state of Oregon. My work is done through a systemic lens with the understanding that we are always influencing, and being influenced, by the systems around us. I have experience with children ages 5 and up, couples, families, and individuals. I believe strongly in incorporating holistic perspectives into therapy and working to bring mind body aspects into the room to fully address concerns. I also provide supervision to LMFT Interns and LPC Interns working towards licensure in Oregon. Please inquire about cost through email.
