My Ideal Client

I have more than seven years of experience working as a therapist. Much of my work is with adult individuals experiencing various challenges in their relationships (w/ family members, friends, partners, etc.…) as well as the effects of loss & life transitions. I also enjoy working with clients who simply hope to better understand their own relational & emotional patterns. If you are interested in making a deeper sense of your self, experiences, & relationships, we could be a good fit!

My Background and Approach

Much of growth takes place in relationships; I offer a warm, consistent, collaborative therapeutic relationship. I specialize in supporting my clients explore their internal worlds with compassion and curiosity so that they can improve and deepen their connections with themselves & with others. This often includes identifying relational and emotional patterns, working to understand how these have come to be, tending to older hurts and wounds, learning and trying out new skills, and much more. The primary clinical approaches that I am informed by and incorporate include Internal Family Systems (IFS or "parts work"), attachment theory, psychoanalytic psychology, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and mindfulness & somatic practices. I am engaged in ongoing training and learning in these modalites. I am a Level 1 Trained Clinician in EMDR but I do not use EMDR in my practice at this time. If you are interested in working with me, please reach out for a free 20 minute consultation.

My Values as a Therapist

I strive to practice radical acceptance and offer a welcoming space to individuals of all backgrounds. I am also committed to providing a supportive space to freely name and discuss the various societal systems that oppress or exclude and contribute to mental health symptoms.
