My Ideal Client

**All sessions done virtually.** I offer a deep compassion for the difficult issues while at the same nurturing your inner strengths and resilience. I meet you where you are at in your journey, and together we engage in an experiential and exploratory process to identify what approach will best support your growth and result in a more embodied, connected and fulfilling life.

My Approach to Helping

My approach is somatic, based on the cultivation of mindful awareness by using the body and breath as tools to come into the present moment. These practices can assist you in becoming more aware, centered, grounded and better equipped to face the past, to engage in the present and create a more fulfilling, integrated future. Inner child work, parts work, depth psychology, transpersonal psychology, and eco psychology are all frameworks that I use to support you in your healing. I offer attuned, consistent support to help you feel more resourced and resilient. I support and welcome people of all backgrounds and orientations. I look forward to supporting you on your path!

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Experiential External link

It is only through present-moment experience that we are able to have a new experience of being with ourselves and others. There are practical tools of awareness that I will guide you in to be able to develop more capacity to experience emotions and sensations. Through nervous system tracking, mindfulness practices and other somatic modalities, you will learn the skills you need to feel more centered and to have more capacity for aliveness.

  • EcoTherapy External link

In Eco Therapy we view humans as a part of the earth, not separate from it. This view can help us to feel connected to something larger, and can provide a sense of purpose and meaning. When we look at the earth's cycles and seasons, we are able to place ourselves and our lives within a greater context. This larger context can be something that grounds us and helps us feel supported and nourished, it helps us to feel less alone in our experience.

  • Integral Therapy External link

Integrative therapy is an individualized, holistic approach to therapy that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic schools of thought depending on the unique needs of a given client.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Anxiety External link

In our work together, I will help you begin to understand the root causes of your anxiety. Also, I will provide you with tools and resources that you can put to use in your daily life to manage and reduce anxiety. We can look at habitual thought patters that give rise to anxious feelings, as well as utilizing mindfulness practices and breathing exercises to help return your nervous system to a calm, regulated state.

  • Spirituality External link

Spiritual wellness is an important part of psychological and emotional wellness. A simple definition of spirituality is a sense of connection to something greater than the Self. Research shows that having spiritual beliefs can support mental and emotional wellness, as well as physical health. I will support you in integrating your own unique spirituality into your daily life for a greater sense of wholeness and alignment.
