My Ideal Client

I work with teens, adults, and people from diverse cultural backgrounds who have or are experiencing the questions of meaning-making in this life. I spent the majority of my life devoted to my own spiritual practices that circle around yoga, meditation, somatic work, existentialism and embodiment. Due to my own experiences, I lean into working with body image, eating disorders, depression, nervous system dysregulation, burnout, LGBTQ+ population, and those focusing on conscious relationships.

My Approach to Helping

I am a clinical counseling intern who works from a culturally responsive, humanistic, and client-centered approach. My work is deeply informed by nearly 20 years of teaching trauma-informed yoga, with a strong focus on nervous system regulation and cultivating safety, stability, and resilience. When it is clinically appropriate and guided by the client, I may integrate gentle somatic practices such as NSDR (Yoga Nidra), meditation, guided breath-work, somatic experiencing, and therapeutic movement to support embodied awareness and regulation. My background also includes nervous system coaching, holistic wellness guidance, and many years as a bodyworker, allowing me to support clients through a compassionate, whole-person lens. Above all, I strive to offer a warm, ethical, and steady presence where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their healing process.

Why I Became a Therapist

I became a therapist because I am deeply curious about what it means to be human—how we suffer, how we heal, and how we find meaning through change, loss, and transition. Throughout my life, I’ve been drawn to spaces where people are asking big questions, navigating uncertainty, or learning how to feel safe in their own bodies again. Through my work as a yoga teacher, bodyworker, and nervous system guide, supporting people through stress, trauma, burnout, and disconnection, again and again, I witnessed how powerful it is when someone feels truly seen, listened to, and met without judgment. That relational presence—combined with an understanding of the nervous system—became the foundation of my work and ultimately led me into clinical counseling.
