My Ideal Client

You may feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, overwhelm, or past trauma, finding it hard to feel safe in your body, trust yourself, or connect deeply with others. You may long to understand your emotions, soften old patterns, and feel more grounded and whole. You’re seeking support that honors your pace and values, helping you move toward greater clarity, resilience, self-compassion, and connection.

My Approach to Helping

I believe meaningful healing happens when we have space to understand not only our thoughts and emotions, but also what our bodies and nervous systems are telling us. Drawing from Somatic Experiencing, attachment theory, and neurobiology, I offer a compassionate, collaborative approach that honors your experiences, values, and pace. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, grief, trauma, and life transitions. Together, we gently explore the sensations, emotions, and protective patterns that may leave you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, shut down, or disconnected. Rather than forcing change, we create space for greater awareness, safety, and choice. As protective patterns soften, your nervous system can become more flexible, making room for greater self-trust, connection, aliveness, and freedom to respond to life in ways that feel authentically yours.

My Values as a Therapist

I value authenticity, compassion, curiosity, and genuine human connection. I believe you are the expert on your own experience, and therapy should be a place where you feel respected, heard, and free to be fully yourself. I value creating a relationship grounded in trust, safety, and mutual respect, while honoring your pace, values, and lived experience. I believe our protective patterns often develop for good reasons, and I approach them with curiosity rather than judgment. I value helping you reconnect with your body, emotions, intuition, and sense of agency so that healing becomes less about changing who you are and more about creating space for who you are beneath the patterns that no longer serve you. Above all, I value the possibility of change: that with support, compassion, and greater awareness, we can develop more choice, connection, and freedom in how we move through the world.

Specialties

I am trained in Somatic Experiencing, which is an approach that helps us notice and work with the ways stress, trauma, and emotions are held in the body and nervous system. Rather than relying solely on talking about what has happened, we gently pay attention to physical sensations, emotions, impulses, and patterns of protection, helping the nervous system develop greater flexibility, choice, and ease.
