My Ideal Client

I offer culturally responsive care for BIPOC clients and neurodivergent-affirming therapy for those navigating trauma, codependency, and struggles with self-esteem. My work centers adults with intersecting identities who are ready to break old patterns, reconnect with their values, and move through life with clarity and intention. I bring a warm, collaborative, and authentic approach to therapy, creating a space for meaningful change.

Our Background and Approach

I’m deeply committed to working with multicultural communities and honoring the complexity that comes with layered identities. As a relational therapist, I draw from a range of modalities guided by intuition and what feels most supportive for you. I integrate holistic practices with evidence-based approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Brainspotting. In our work together, I will invite you to explore deeply, ask tough questions, and gently bring awareness to the patterns that may be holding you back. My goal is to walk alongside you as you reconnect with your inner wisdom and strength. I invite you to approach this journey with openness and curiosity, as we reflect on the experiences that have brought you here. Together, we’ll co-create a space where you are empowered to heal, grow, and thrive.

Why I Became a Therapist

Growing up in Oakland as a 1st generation immigrant has deeply informed my perspective on identity, resilience, and healing. With roots in Animism and Buddhism deeply woven into the cultural and spiritual practices of my upbringing, I am inspired to carry forward the healing legacies of my family lineage.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) External link

I use IFS (Internal Family Systems) to help you get to know the different “parts” of yourself, like an inner critic, a people pleaser, or a worried part, that show up in thoughts, feelings, or behaviors. Rather than pushing these parts away, we gently explore them to understand what they’re trying to protect or express. Together, we’ll connect with your core Self, your calm, curious inner leader, to bring more clarity, healing, and balance.

  • Brainspotting External link

Brainspotting is a gentle way to heal without needing to talk through all the details of your trauma. It helps your brain process what’s stored deep inside, where talking alone can’t always reach. During a session, I’ll guide your gaze to a specific spot and we’ll pay attention to what thoughts, feelings, or body sensations come up. Once we find a “brainspot,” your mind will do the work it needs. When things settle, we’ll take time to ground and begin integrating your experience through a brief

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Immigration/Acculturation External link

Navigating mental health across cultures can be complex - especially for those who identify as Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) and neurodivergent. Cultural expectations, stigma, and the absence of shared language or understanding often make these conversations difficult. When neurodivergence is also part of your experience, it can add another layer that’s often overlooked. I offer a space to explore how culture, trauma, and neurodivergence shape your sense of self and relationships. T

  • Abuse External link

If you’ve experienced emotionally immature parenting or narcissistic relationships, you may carry deep wounds that affect your self-worth and how you relate to others. As a strength-based therapist, I support you in untangling these patterns and reconnecting with your sense of self. What you’ve been through is not your fault and healing is not something you have to do alone. Together, we’ll explore how past attachment wounds may be shaping your present, creating space for clarity, healthy bounda

  • Loss or Grief External link

Grief is a deeply personal and often non linear experience. It can arise from many kinds of loss, death, changes in identity, relationships, health, or major life transitions. In grief work, we create space for your emotions to unfold naturally, without rushing toward “closure” or minimizing the complexity of what you carry. Together, we will explore the layers of your loss, honor what has been meaningful, and support the integration of grief into your life in a way that feels authentic. Our wor
