My Ideal Client

I specialize in couples therapy and support those who might be feeling stuck in recurring patterns or feeling like they've had the same argument over and over again. Many people arrive to couples therapy feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, uncertain or frustrated by that dynamics that seem to keep repeating. I offer a warm, supportive, and nonjudgemental space where I aim to help couples strengthen their relationship and create lasting and meaningful change.

My Approach to Helping

I believe that healing begins when we feel safe enough to show up as our authentic selves. Too often people judge themselves, or try to push the difficult emotions away. I help clients become curious about their experiences and understand the emotions beneath the surface so they can recognize the patterns that might be keeping them stuck. I see emotions as valuable sources of information that can help us understand our unmet needs and how we relate to the important people in our lives. I'm sex positive and welcome relationships of all kind. Whether you're married, in a long-term relationship, seeking pre-marital counseling, LGBTQIA+ or in a polyamorous relationship, this is a safe space for you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

At the heart of my work is a belief that relationships matter. Relationships with our partners, family, friends, and ourselves can all be a source of both pain and healing. I value authenticity, curiosity, compassion and meaningful connection and I strive to bring those to my work with clients. I'm interested in the ways our relationships, emotions and life experiences influence how we move through the world and passionate about helping people better understand themselves and navigate life's challenges with more compassion. As a graduate intern I'm able to offer sessions at a reduced rate of $25. I'm also happy to match the price of your co-pay, whichever is less.

I utilize an attachment-based approach and use tools from Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT). EFT is an evidence-based approach that helps couples identity cycles they might be stuck in, deepen their emotional connection and create a more secure and fulfilling bond.
