My Approach to Helping

Therapy with me is an engaging, thoughtful process of creating a relationship secure enough to hold whatever you bring to each session. Together, we will work to increase your self-awareness, emotional understanding, and distress tolerance; improve your relationships with self and others; and move through challenging life transitions. We will collaboratively explore patterns of thinking and relationships, and come to understand the stories that have given meaning to experiences throughout your life. You deserve to feel accepted, understood, and worthy as you engage in the process of integrating what you've learned across the different seasons of your lifetime. My hope for you is that you may cultivate healing connections, both within yourself and with others.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am interested in exploring the relationships that shape us and our communities, including the ways in which these relationships are impacted over time by media, culture, and technology. I work with clients who are seeking to understand themselves, their values, and the ways in which they inhabit the world around them. During our work together, we will encounter some of life's existential questions of "Why?" and "How?," inviting a deeper understanding of the relationships, experiences, and emotions that make you, you. I bring a sense of curiosity and existential awe to my work. I am deeply honored to be invited to know and understand you as you seek to know yourself. My practice is client-centered, trauma-informed, kink- and sex-positive, utilizing creativity to empower change and cultivate self-compassion.
