My Ideal Client

Are you experiencing a bump in the road, or maybe you’re curious about how you got here? I believe that every individual has the strength and potential to lead a peaceful and fulfilling life. If you are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges or just feeling stuck- there are brighter times ahead. I work with adults and teenagers (16+) to identify opportunities for growth and promote positive change in the present, while fostering a deeper understanding of your self.

My Background

Through my graduate studies, I have received training in family systems, human development, group therapy, trauma-informed practices, grief counseling, play therapy and cultural competencies. I am currently working toward certification as a Level I Restoration Therapist.

Why I Became a Therapist

Life is hard, but life is beautiful. A career in the non-profit world has taught me that no one can do it alone. I am inspired by the helpers in our communities, and by the strength and resilience of the individual. I became a therapist because I truly believe that together we can change things for the better. Improving ourselves has a butterfly effect – creating positive change our closest relationships and our larger communities. I am proud to be part of a network of support that helps move us all forward. Transitions are something I am very familiar with. We moved a lot when I was growing up, including a stint overseas. In my twenties, I took a few years and backpacked around the world, working and volunteering along the way. I am humbled by our global humanity.
