My Ideal Client

I work with individuals and couples who want more from their relationships and themselves. Many find themselves stuck in recurring struggles, feeling disconnected, questioning themselves more than they'd like, or wondering why certain challenges keep showing up despite their best efforts to change them. Often, they've spent a long time trying to make sense of things on their own and are looking for a space where they can be honest about what they're carrying.

My Approach to Helping

Many people come to therapy because something in their life or relationships no longer feels the way they want it to. They may feel disconnected from a partner, having the same conversations over and over again, overwhelmed by what they're carrying, or frustrated that they keep finding themselves in familiar places despite wanting something different. Together, we'll take a closer look at what's happening and explore the experiences, emotions, and patterns that may be contributing to your current struggles. Sometimes understanding things differently can open up new possibilities for how you respond to them.

My Values as a Therapist

I believe therapy works best when clients feel respected, understood, and accepted as they are. I value authenticity, curiosity, and collaboration, and I strive to create a space where clients can explore difficult experiences without judgment. I welcome and affirm clients of all identities, backgrounds, relationship structures, and lived experiences. I trust that each person is the expert in their own life. My hope is that therapy provides an opportunity to better understand yourself, your relationships, and what feels right for you moving forward.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Emotionally Focused External link

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an attachment-based approach that helps individuals and couples better understand the emotions and patterns shaping their relationships. I have completed EFT externship training for both individuals and couples and draw from this model to help clients strengthen connection, navigate difficult emotions, and create more secure relationships with themselves and others.

  • Attachment Theory External link

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an attachment-based approach that helps individuals and couples better understand the emotions and patterns shaping their relationships. I have completed EFT externship training for both individuals and couples and draw from this model to help clients strengthen connection, navigate difficult emotions, and create more secure relationships with themselves and others.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) External link

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a compassionate approach that helps people better understand the different parts of themselves and the roles those parts may play in their lives. Through greater curiosity and connection, clients can begin to relate to themselves with more understanding, compassion, and care.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Relationship / Marriage Issues External link

I work with couples who feel disconnected, caught in the same conflicts, struggling to communicate, or wanting to strengthen their relationship. Together, we explore the patterns shaping your interactions and work toward greater understanding, connection, and trust.

  • PTSD External link

Difficult experiences can continue to affect how we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world long after they have occurred. Together, we explore how those experiences may still be showing up in your relationships, emotions, and sense of self, and work toward creating meaningful change.

  • Self-Esteem External link

The relationship we have with ourselves influences every area of our lives, from our relationships to the choices we make each day. Together, we explore the experiences and beliefs that may be shaping how you see yourself and work toward developing a more compassionate, grounded, and connected sense of self.
