My Ideal Client

I work with people who feel stuck, lost, overwhelmed—or like they’re carrying too much on their own. Many of my clients are queer, neurodivergent, or navigating the long-term impacts of trauma. Others are trying to unlearn internalized beliefs from religion, family, or culture that no longer serve them. If you’re craving more space to be yourself, more tools to make sense of your experiences, and more ease in your body and mind, you’re not alone—and I’m here to help.

My Background and Approach

I’m a Clinical Social Work Associate and bilingual therapist (English/Spanish) with a background in community mental health, trauma recovery, and housing justice. My approach is relational, compassionate, and collaborative—I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe enough to be real, and supported enough to try new ways of being. I bring experience working with people navigating trauma, ADHD, identity exploration, and life transitions. I draw from narrative practices, systems theory, attachment theory, and relational and existential approaches to help you tune into yourself, process what’s felt too heavy to carry alone, and move toward a life that feels more spacious, grounded, and aligned. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working with unhoused communities, people experiencing the structural impacts of poverty, and young adults in care—experiences that shaped my deep respect for people’s resilience and my commitment to healing as both personal and political.

Social Justice Issues I Care About

My work is rooted in the belief that many of our wounds are not just personal—they’re also collective. I care deeply about creating healing spaces that acknowledge the impact of systems like racism, transphobia, ableism, colonialism, and capitalism. I’m especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ folks, neurodivergent people, young adults experiencing the generational impacts of oppression, and people recovering from religious harm or institutional betrayal. As a bilingual therapist and former housing advocate, I’ve seen how larger structures shape access to care, language, and basic safety—and I see therapy as one piece of a larger project toward justice and liberation. In the therapy room, this means we can talk about your pain and your power, your grief and your growth, without shame.
