My Background and Approach

My background includes work with children, older adults, those with life-limiting illness, and people struggling with grief, loss, and adjustment to life transitions. My approach is collaborative, conversational, and warm. I incorporate mindfulness and parts work to help you learn to manage every day struggles. I will continually work with you to set and re-evaluate your therapy goals, then tailor your sessions to work toward those goals.

My Values as a Therapist

I believe that the central task of therapy is finding the balance between acceptance and change - acceptance of what is and change to enable what can be. I believe that, like plants which put on new leaves every year of their existence, we all have the capacity to grow at every stage of our lives.
