My Ideal Client

You're mid-argument and can feel it: your heart pounding, your partner shutting down — the same fight again. Later in bed, you roll over hoping they'll reach for you, and end up doom-scrolling or staring at the ceiling instead. The person you love most feels like a stranger. And sometimes the stranger is you — at war with your body or disconnected from yourself. These patterns once kept you safe, but now they keep you apart. I'll help you find your way back to each other, and to yourself.

My Approach to Helping

If talk therapy alone has never gotten you or your relationship where you needed to go, you're not alone — that tells me what you need, not what's wrong with you. Therapy doesn't have to be heavy all the time to do real work. Let's bring curiosity, playfulness, and creativity into the room. When words aren't enough, we can explore through the body, movement, art, music, and play. For couples, that might mean slowing down to notice what happens between you, and learning to turn toward each other again with more closeness, trust, and ease. For individuals, it might mean building a real sense of safety in your body, whether trauma still lives there or food and your body have felt like a battle. Change is possible by returning to the inherent wisdom of your body, even if that doesn't feel true right now. I've seen it in myself and my clients, and I'd be honored to help you get there too.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

At the heart of my work is a belief that healing happens in connection. I know trust takes time, and I don't expect it right away — it's something I work to earn. All I ask is a willingness to try, and maybe get a little messy along the way. It's an honor to witness two people turn toward each other after a long stretch of living on separate islands, or help someone make peace with a body that's felt like a battleground. So much of what keeps us stuck lives in the nervous system and body. That's why I'm pursuing specialized training in both Somatic Experiencing, a body-based approach to trauma, and eating disorders and body image. I've seen how easily people get overlooked or misread in therapy, especially when their identities live at nuanced intersections. You can bring all of you here. I offer queer-, neurodivergent-, and fat-affirming care from a Health at Every Size lens, and I'm sex-positive, kink-friendly, and welcoming of polyamorous and non-traditional relationships.
