My Ideal Client

NOTE: I currently have a waitlist, spaces generally open every 8-12 weeks. I accept Aetna, First Choice, Regence (blue cross/shield), OHP, Optum, and more. I can offer sliding scale rates for those paying out-of-pocket who are uinsured or underinsured. I work with adult clients experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, and impulse control/substance use issues; and couples experiencing relationship and communication challenges. I also provide therapy for children and their caregivers.

How I Can Help You

In my experience, most mental health challenges are complex and can benefit from therapy, use of recommended skills between session, and personal focus on physical health. Each therapeutic relationship begins with an assessment and treatment planning, in which I will gather information. We will then work together to establish goals, and determine which type of therapy will be most helpful based on your symptoms and needs. I use the following strategies with positive outcomes: Psychodynamic therapy is a long-term strategy that acknowledges the complex reasons and causes for emotional suffering, and examines subconscious motivations for our behavior and feelings. Research shows long-term alleviation of symptoms with this therapy. EMDR: A structured evidence-based technique that uses eye-movements and talk therapy to alleviate PTSD symptoms. CBT/DBT: Structured step-by-step therapies that reduce anxious negative thoughts and emotional dysregulation.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

I may be a good fit for you if: you are dealing with trauma symptoms, anxiety, depression, or anger challenges; are in a relationship with someone suffering from mental health or personality disorders; are seeking long-term therapy to address complex dynamic challenges and reach a point of self-actualization; want to address trauma using EMDR; are a couple seeking help in improving communication and addressing resentment within the relationship; or are a guardian of a child with mild to moderate mental health or behavioral challenges.
