My Ideal Client

Most of the people I work with are struggling with emotions—either overwhelmed by them or suppressing them entirely. Often, they’ve been through painful experiences or trauma that still lingers. They tend to be really hard on themselves, struggle to set boundaries, or carry around shame, self-doubt, fear, and insecurity. Perfectionism, anxiety, low motivation, relationship problems, overthinking—these are all common themes. If any of this resonates with you, you're not alone—please reach out!

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • EMDR External link

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a well-researched, highly effective therapy that helps the brain reprocess traumatic or distressing memories. Using bilateral stimulation like eye movements or tapping, EMDR supports healing from both major traumas and painful life experiences—such as childhood shame, emotional neglect, or family conflict—that may still affect you today. EMDR can be a great choice for people who have had limited success with traditional "talk" therapy.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) External link

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy is about finding a new way to relate to difficult thoughts and feelings instead of getting stuck in them or letting them dominate your life. It helps build a focus on what really matters to you and take small steps toward that—even when things feel difficult or messy.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) External link

Internal Family Systems sees the human mind as made of “parts”—like a worrier, a critic, or a people-pleaser—each trying to help in its own way. IFS helps you connect with your own calm and courageous inner voice to understand and heal these parts with compassion. What makes it unique is that it sees all parts as valuable, and trusts your inner self—not just the therapist—as the key to lasting healing and balance.
