My Ideal Client

My work centers on creating a compassionate, supportive space where healing can unfold. I work with individuals aged 18 and older navigating life transitions, grief, anxiety, and the impact of trauma—particularly from childhood experiences or harmful relationship dynamics, including intimate partner violence. Through our work together, we’ll steadily uncover the layers of your authentic self that may have been buried or feel lost, and give those parts of you a voice and a space to heal.

My Approach to Helping

Drawing from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and body-based techniques that harness the power of sensation and movement, I help you reconnect with your emotions, deepen your self-awareness, and build stronger relationships with your world, your community, and especially with yourself. This can look many different ways: building skills to help you ground yourself in the moment, discovering new insight to help you reframe or reclaim a challenging narrative, or healing a deep wound that may be showing up in your life in numerous ways.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

In session, I tend to speak candidly and use humor when appropriate. I value the unique flow that emerges with each person I work with. I also firmly believe in the power of the counseling relationship to help people recognize and leverage the strengths they already possess. It may not feel like it all the time, but I believe we each have what we need to move through the challenges of our lives. Sometimes it just takes the help of a collaborator (like a counselor!) to illuminate what is hard to find. You've got this, and I'll be alongside you for the journey. I am passionate about human rights and committed to cultural humility. I recognize that I embody a convergence of privileged identities, and I strive to be an ally, always centering you as the expert of your own lived experience. I look forward to learning about you and partnering with you in service of your growth and wellness.
