My Ideal Client

I work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigating life’s challenges. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, suicidality, grief, relationship issues, and identity exploration. I also support parents, promote emotional intelligence, and help build self-esteem, self-compassion, and resilience. My goal is to create a supportive space for healing, growth, and connection.

My Approach to Helping

My approach to therapy is person-centered and emotion-focused, meaning your unique story, context, and values guide our work together. I strive to create a compassionate and collaborative space where you can explore your experiences safely and at your own pace. I draw from System’s Theory, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Somatic Psychotherapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy. Integrating these evidence-based approaches allows me to tailor therapy to your specific needs and goals. Together, we’ll highlight your strengths, deepen emotional awareness, and develop practical tools to support healing, growth, and meaningful change in your life.

My Values as a Therapist

As a therapist, I value authenticity, compassion, and inclusivity. I believe that meaningful growth happens when you feel safe, respected, and truly seen for who you are. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where all identities and experiences are welcomed and affirmed. I honor the courage it takes to begin therapy and view our work as a collaborative partnership built on trust and empathy. I strive to help you reconnect with your strengths, clarify your values, and move toward a life that feels more balanced and fulfilling. Grounded in hope and curiosity, I approach every session with the belief that healing is possible—and that you already hold many of the tools you need to get there.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • EMDR External link

I’m completing certification in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that helps adults and children heal from trauma, anxiety, and distressing experiences. EMDR uses gentle eye movements or tapping to help the brain reprocess “stuck” memories, ease emotional intensity, and restore calm and resilience. If talk therapy hasn’t been enough, EMDR may offer a path toward deeper healing.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Child or Adolescent Issues External link

Working with children and teens has been a central focus of my career. I create warm, collaborative spaces where young people feel safe, supported, and empowered to grow. Using play, creativity, and evidence-based approaches, I help kids and teens express emotions, build coping skills, and strengthen relationships within their families and communities.
