My Ideal Client

I work with neurodivergent children, adolescents, adults, and couples experiencing anxiety, overwhelm, or burnout related to ADHD or autism. My clients value a creative therapist who understands their experiences and adapts methods typically designed for neurotypical individuals. My approach emphasizes understanding, connection, and strategies that honor each person's unique perspective. I also help parents support children who see the world differently.

My Approach to Helping

I believe everyone has the capacity for growth. Curiosity, empathy, and presence guide my work. I work especially well with mixed neurotype couples. In sessions, I use direct language to support my neurodivergent clients and incorporate humor when appropriate. I use trauma-informed, attachment-based, and parts work approaches to help clients recognize patterns, regulate their nervous systems, and reconnect with their inner strength and self-trust. With younger clients, I provide a safe, welcoming environment through child-centered play therapy that supports self-expression and personal discovery. I also assist parents in understanding and responding to behaviors that may appear challenging but often reflect a child's need for connection and support.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I dream of a world where everyone feels they truly belong. I know firsthand how systems can overlook or exclude neurodivergent and disabled people, and I believe therapy can be a powerful way to challenge that. For me, the neurodivergent brain and queer experience offer fresh wisdom and insight, helping us imagine something better. Supporting neurodivergent and queer people goes far beyond my job. This work is deeply important to me, both personally and professionally. I feel honored to be part of each person’s journey. By building strong, caring relationships in therapy, we plant the seeds for real, lasting change in people’s lives and beyond.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Play Therapy  External link

I’m pursuing certification in play therapy under the supervision of a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. I have extensive training and hands-on experience, including running groups. My approach is rooted in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), which trusts a child’s innate capacity for growth when provided with safety, presence, and respect. CCPT aligns with how I see kids: capable, creative, and deserving of space where their voices lead the way.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Autism External link

I know that traditional talk therapy does not always work for autistic clients. I will use parts work and psychoeducation to help clients accommodate themselves and navigate the world as an autistic person, which often brings real relief. I have both experience and formal training in working with autistic clients, including PDA-informed care, and I work with clients autistic clients across the lifespan. We will address burnout, overwhelm, and masking. I also have tools for higher support needs.

  • Anxiety External link

I work with anxiety, especially in young people who feel overwhelmed by the fast pace and pressure of today’s world. Many of my clients quietly worry about things like the climate, politics, and survival, and often feel this stress in their bodies before they can even name it. I help them slow down, notice their feelings, and find simple, steady ways to protect their peace. In therapy, their sensitivity is not a weakness but something valuable that deserves respect and care.

  • Relationship / Marriage Issues External link

I specialize in working with neurodivergent couples using a flexible, systems-based approach. I recognize that each partnership is shaped by a web of intersecting identities, neurotypes, and family. Neurodiversity-affirming training informs how I help couples navigate communication, sensory, and emotional differences. By integrating polyvagal-informed tools, I support partners in building safety, understanding, and authentic connection. Every couple’s path is individualized and strengths-based.

  • Child or Adolescent Issues External link

I have a background in child development and training in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). My goal is to give children a place where they can express themselves through play. I believe every child naturally wants to grow, and I aim to offer safety, warmth, and understanding to help them do so. With decades of experience in schools, homes, and the community, I help children work through their emotions, build self-esteem, and face challenges at their own pace. • PTSD External link

When I work with PTSD, I focus on how trauma can affect your sense of self. Using my EMDR training, along with attachment and parts work, I help you explore the parts of you that are hurt, protective, or just trying to get by. Together, we look at the emotions and beliefs that shape how you respond to things. I respect the parts of you that have helped you cope, and we also pay attention to the parts that need healing. This process helps create a space where your nervous system can start to feel
