My Background

I'm Marilyn D. Manzi, a licensed psychotherapist in California and Oregon and the founder of DreamSomatix, a private practice for professionals who carry high-stakes decisions. My approach integrates Jungian depth psychology, somatic awareness, and a proprietary method called Dream Psychotherapy© - clinical dreamwork that surfaces the internal patterns, conflicts, and priorities your conscious mind hasn't been able to access. You don't need to remember your dreams for this work to be effective. History at the C.G. Jung Institutes of Los Angeles and Santa Fe, supervised by Jungian analysts, and I'm a CAMFT-approved Continuing Education provider. I also supervise Associate Marriage and Family Therapists and speak internationally on dream-informed clinical work. This is not short-term, solution-focused therapy. It is depth-oriented, person-centered work for people who are ready to understand themselves at a level that changes everything. I see clients via telehealth throughout Oregon

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that the people who carry the most responsibility often have the least support in understanding themselves. Therapy may not be a luxury or a last resort - it is the space where high-performing adults finally get to stop managing and start understanding. I am drawn to the intersection of depth psychology, dreamwork, and the body's wisdom because I have seen what happens when clients access parts of themselves that thinking alone cannot reach. Outside of practice, I am passionate about Jungian scholarship, international teaching, and building a group practice where clinicians are supported in doing deep, meaningful clinical work.
