My Ideal Client

I work with teens and adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves or others. Maybe you're navigating a difficult season, struggling in relationships, or noticing how past experiences still affect you. My focus includes trauma, anxiety, depression, body image and eating concerns, and life transitions like pregnancy, new parenthood, and retirement. Whether you're new to therapy or returning after some time away, we'll start wherever you are.

My Approach to Helping

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in genuine connection. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel comfortable showing up as yourself, without pressure to have it all together or find the “right” words. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Our work together will be shaped by your experiences, needs, and goals. Sometimes that means developing practical tools to navigate everyday challenges, while other times it means slowing down, exploring past experiences, or better understanding patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I draw from evidence-based therapies while recognizing that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to bring curiosity, compassion, clinical knowledge, and a fresh perspective to help you better understand yourself and make meaningful changes.

My Values as a Therapist

I believe everyone deserves to feel seen, heard, valued, and treated with dignity. My work is grounded in compassion, authenticity, cultural humility, and a deep commitment to social justice. I am passionate about LGBTQ+ rights, immigrant rights, reproductive autonomy, and advocating for communities that have historically been marginalized. I also believe that mental health care does not exist in a vacuum. Our experiences are shaped by our identities, relationships, communities, and the larger systems we navigate. I am deeply committed to decolonizing therapy, which means questioning traditional assumptions about mental health, recognizing the impact of systemic oppression, and honoring different ways of understanding healing and well-being. I strive to approach my work with curiosity, humility, and a willingness to continually learn and challenge my own perspectives.
