My Ideal Client

I love working with people who are curious about themselves and want to understand the “why” behind their experiences. I support adults and couples who sense something isn’t working and want to make a change, even if they’re unsure what the problem is. I also work closely with children, teens, and their families to help them navigate emotions, relationships, and the push and pull of independence. My ideal clients value curiosity, honesty, and the desire to grow.

My Approach to Helping

I’ve worked in both outpatient and inpatient settings, supporting children and teenagers with behavioral and mental health challenges. This experience deepened my understanding of how important steady support and practical strategies are for families. I work with adults, couples, and families who want to explore the “why” behind their experiences—looking at past relationships, identities, and cultural context to understand present patterns. My therapeutic style is collaborative, thoughtful, and curious. With adults and couples, I help uncover what’s beneath the surface so you can make more intentional choices in your life and relationships. With children, I create space for feelings while supporting parents in finding effective strategies. With teens, I hold the complexities of wanting independence while still navigating rules and expectations, helping them feel confident and understood.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that therapy should be a space where curiosity, compassion, and insight come together to create change. I value working with people and families who are motivated to make shifts, even if they feel they’ve already tried everything. I see therapy as a process of discovery—where understanding the roots of your patterns creates new possibilities for living with more freedom and authenticity. I also care deeply about creating safe, supportive spaces for kids and teens to explore who they are. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with friends, being active outdoors, playing with my cats, and keeping up with the daily Contexto puzzle. These practices help me stay grounded, playful, and connected to joy.
