My Ideal Client

I work with adults navigating grief, heartbreak, life transitions, or loss, as well as those seeking greater authenticity and self-acceptance. My ideal clients are open to exploring their stories, relationships, and identities, and want a supportive, non-judgmental space to process complex emotions. I especially value working with BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ communities, honoring the impact of systemic oppression while fostering resilience, compassion, and growth.

My Approach to Helping

I believe therapy is a collaborative journey toward creating a more authentic life. My approach is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy, and shaped by a culturally affirming and systems-based perspective. I bring curiosity, humor, and warmth into sessions while honoring the complexities of each client’s story. Together, we explore grief, heartbreak, and transitions, while also building pathways toward trust, compassion, and self-acceptance. I integrate a Health at Every Size framework and invite the full range of human emotions into the therapeutic process. My goal is to provide a supportive environment where you can examine how past relationships, identities, and experiences have shaped you, and use that understanding to grow.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe every person is capable of growth, and I honor the unique path that has led each client to therapy. I see the therapeutic relationship as a space to welcome tears, laughter, and everything in between, while gently cultivating trust in yourself. I am committed to culturally affirming practice, respecting the ways oppression and privilege shape identity and experience. Outside of therapy, I enjoy soaking in the greenery of the Pacific Northwest, floating rivers, baking pastries, sharing charcuterie board picnics, and backpacking through national parks. These practices help me recharge and remind me of the importance of joy, connection, and adventure in everyday life.
