My Ideal Client

Many of the kids and teens I work with have been misunderstood by peers, schools, medical providers, or other adults in their lives. They need a space that looks beyond the behaviors they exhibit on the outside, in order to support the needs underneath. I often use creative interventions like art and play therapy to help my clients express what they don’t yet have the words for.

My Background

My passion to support neurodivergent kids and teens started when I was young, although I didn’t have those words for it at the time. I grew up with an autistic sibling. The services in our rural community did not have the right tools to support her, or the many other autistic kids within miles of the nearest treatment center. Seeing how this scarcity of quality care directly affected me and my loved ones inspired me to pursue a career in Clinical Social Work - not only to increase access to care, but to provide the kind of care that truly centers the experiences of neurodiverse people, rather than trying to change them.

My Approach to Helping

I truly enjoy getting to see my clients show up more authentically and build their confidence as they integrate the skills they learn in therapy. If you're looking for a place where your child or teen can get the support they need, feel free to reach out!
