My Ideal Client

I work with folks navigating trauma, addiction, grief and loss, anxiety, identity exploration, sex and relationships, life transitions, spirituality, and other problems shaped by experiences with conditional love, acceptance, and/or systemic oppression. Together, my clients and I explore how structural forces, family systems, and other relational factors have influenced their stories, beliefs, and personal values while fostering greater self-compassion, resilience, and connection.

My Background

My background is in wilderness therapy, where I worked with adolescents and teens navigating a variety of presenting concerns. I also completed a 200-hour Yoga teacher training in 2025 and enjoy integrating aspects of bodywork, mindfulness, and meditation into my counseling practice.

Why I Became a Therapist

I am a member of the 2SLGBTQ+ community and have robust experience working with addiction, trauma, life transitions, and identity-exploration. I have attended trainings on trauma-responsive facilitation and nature therapy and have experience volunteering with community harm reduction groups. I also am an avid outdoors person and am a certified Wilderness First Responder.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Attachment Theory External link

Attachment theory offers a lens for understanding how early relationships shape present experiences and underscores the importance of secure, corrective connections in the healing process.

  • Existential External link

Existential approaches emphasize the healing power of the therapeutic relationship while encouraging exploration of meaning, freedom, and personal responsibility.
