I specialize in helping individuals with the tension that comes with trauma, identity, life transitions, depression, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and grief/loss=. In our sessions, we will explore who you are; your world, beliefs, and values. Together, we will use this understanding to promote change and growth. I empower individuals to heal themselves and cope with the challenges of life. Evidence-based practices that I most commonly use are Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-based therapies, Integrated Family Systems ​

My approach to counseling is a collaborative experience that draws on the awareness of the Self. How our thoughts, feelings, and beliefs influence relationships with the Self, as well as how our environment affects these facets of everyday life. With self-compassion, gaining awareness of our inner-world can lead to a greater understanding of how our life choices affect our emotional and physical well-being and can be a guide to a more authentic and balanced life.
