Many of the people I work with have spent years carrying experiences they never fully had the opportunity to process. Whether you're healing from childhood trauma, or sexual trauma, trying to untangle the lasting effects of religious experiences, or navigating life without children or without a partner in a world that often assumes marriage and parenthood are the expected path, therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater confidence and peace.
Specialties
Many women find themselves questioning who they are outside of traditional expectations around marriage, partnership, and motherhood. I support women navigating life without children or a partner—whether by choice, infertility, circumstance, or another life path—as they explore identity, self-worth, purpose, and fulfillment. Therapy can provide a supportive space to process difficult emotions, reconnect with yourself, and create a life that feels authentic and meaningful.
Experiences such as childhood trauma, sexual abuse, sexual trauma, and religious trauma can leave lasting effects on emotional well-being, relationships, and self-esteem. Using evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, such as EMDR and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can help you process painful experiences, reduce distressing symptoms, and develop a stronger sense of safety, resilience, and self-worth, reclaiming your sense of self.
Attachment and Relationship issues: Our earliest relationships shape how we connect with others throughout life. If you find yourself struggling with trust, communication, boundaries, people-pleasing, fear of abandonment, or recurring relationship patterns, therapy can help. Together, we will explore how past experiences may be influencing your current relationships and develop healthier ways of connecting with yourself and others.
