My Ideal Client

I help neurodivergent, LGBTQ, and polyamorous adults navigate trauma, identity, connection, and overwhelm so they can build stable, grounded, authentic lives. I offer Brainspotting for clients who want a body-based approach to trauma, anxiety, depression, or impulse control, as well as for improving performance issues and physical pain. My practice is LGBTQ-affirming and poly-informed, providing a safe and knowledgeable space for individual, relationship, and family counseling.

My Approach to Helping

Though I use a lot of research-based methods, I don't believe everyone fits in a box and I strive to collaborate with people to fit their personality, relationships and circumstances. I am trained in Brainspotting therapy which provides a brain-body processing option for difficult-to-change challenges that talk therapy has not been able to change. Brainspotting is useful for such things as difficult to treat trauma, anxiety, depression, or impulsivity, as well as improving things such as performance anxiety, emotional pain, and addiction. I also offer a LGBTQ and polyamorous safe counseling experience and provide informed relationship and family counseling for these communities.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I'm a queer-affirming, neurodivergent-informed therapist who believes healing happens through connection, curiosity, and nervous-system attunement. My work is rooted in social justice and in creating spaces where LGBTQ, polyamorous, and neurodivergent people don’t have to educate their therapist or mask who they are. I integrate family systems, art therapy, Brainspotting, and CBT to support clients in making sense of their experiences, strengthening emotional resilience, and building relationships that feel steady and authentic. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready to move toward a more grounded and connected version of yourself, I’d be honored to support you. I bring both professional expertise and lived experience to this work.”

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Brainspotting External link

Brainspotting is a gentle, brain- and body-based therapy that can accelerate emotional processing beyond talk therapy. While it's been generally helpful for all my clients, I’ve found it can be especially helpful for neurodivergent adults in building emotional tolerance, reducing trauma-related triggers, and slowing reactivity or impulsivity. I use it to support trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional or body-based pain, and performance enhancement.

  • Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) External link

I work with people to help them understand the connection between their thoughts, their feelings, and their actions so that they can notice what they are doing, and positive changes in their lives. This type of therapy is really useful for people with anxiety, depression, and trauma. Additionally, I often teach these skills to parents when their children have challenging behaviors.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • LGBTQ Issues External link

I provide an affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients and understand how systemic and relational trauma can shape identity, self-worth, and access to support. I work with adults exploring sexuality or gender identity, including non-binary and transitioning individuals. I also help supportive family members understand, affirm, and advocate for their loved ones during this process.

  • PTSD External link

I work with adults who have experienced trauma, including identity-based, relational, or systemic stress. Using Brainspotting alongside other approaches, I support clients in processing difficult experiences, regulating emotions, understanding patterns, and building strategies for greater resilience, connection, and self-trust.

  • ADHD External link

I work with adults navigating ADHD or who want support around executive functioning, often alongside trauma-related symptoms, and other nuero-divergence. I help provide practical strategies to build structure, regulate your nervous system, strengthen focus, and cultivate a more grounded, authentic daily life, while also helping reduce shame and increase self-understanding of where your nuerodivergence is a strength.

  • Personal Growth External link

Many adults seek therapy to deepen self-knowledge, strengthen boundaries, or navigate a life transition that’s reshaping their identity or relationships. I help clients build clarity, emotional resilience, and more grounded ways of relating to themselves and others so they can move toward lives that feel aligned, steady, and authentic.

  • Polyamorous and Open Relationships External link

I work with adults in consensually non-monogamous or polyamorous relationships, including LGBTQ+ clients, helping navigate boundaries, attachment, and communication challenges. Using a trauma-informed lens, I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore identity, process relational stress, and build more authentic, connected, and resilient relationships, and greater clarity in your own self-knowledge and feelings in relationship to others.
