Lauren Hoffman (She/her)

I use an integrated approach to therapy to best fit the unique needs of each client. I often work from a psychodynamic-relational stance, using the client-therapist relationship as a tool to increase my client’s awareness of interactions between self, others, and the world to improve decision-making and enhance life satisfaction. Within this framework, I incorporate mindfulness-based techniques to promote insight with practical, here-and-now interventions. I have experience diagnosing and treating a variety of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma, adjustment, and ADHD.

I received my Doctorate (Psy.D.) and Master's degree (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from George Fox University. I completed my internship and residency at Portland State University’s Center for Student Health and Counseling. I have experience providing therapy and assessment services to a diverse population of adults and adolescents in a variety of settings, including inpatient clinics, a community mental health center, and university counseling settings.
