My Ideal Client

You can feel secure knowing that our time together will be one in which you are deeply listened to and valued. I work with a variety of age groups from teens to seniors with emphasis on family of origin narratives and attachment as a background towards developing a platform for acceptance and change. Couples are a particular passion of mine.

My Approach to Helping

I work from a Humanistic background and incorporate Attachment, Acceptance Commitment Therapy and Family Systems as well as other modalities which are individualized by client/couple. As an older therapist in a second career (first being classical music/piano), I bring experience which I feel can deepen how we work together.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have a very consistent set of core values and beliefs which center around respect and the integrity of each client. I have worked extensively with couples and use a tailored approach depending on the need but include excercises from the Gottmans as well as others in the field. I hold a CADCI and Brainspotting is a more recent addition to the modalities which I feel comfortable using.
