My Approach

Integral therapy begins with a basic attitude that all people have a tremendous capacity for change, and that we all contain within us a natural impulse towards healing. Therapy is a collaborative relationship, I will invite you to “lead the way” as we explore what is present for you. It is important to me that you feel seen, heard, and empowered in the therapy process. Together, we will work towards the creation of an atmosphere of safety and trust that supports your healing process. In session, I incorporate a variety of approaches to meet your unique goals. These include humanistic-existential, psychodynamic, transpersonal, ecotherapy, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. As an optional adjunct to traditional therapy, we can schedule therapy sessions outdoors in a local park or wild area. Immersion in nature, combined with the gentle physical activity of walking, can be an excellent supplement to our therapeutic work together.

My Background

I am a registered LPC Intern in the state of Oregon, supervised by Daniel Donohue, LCSW (lic #6067). I received my master's degree in Integral Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco, CA. My graduate and post-graduate experience includes working as an outpatient drug and alcohol counselor, a school-based mental health therapist, and an intensive outpatient mental health therapist. I have experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including adults, adolescents, couples, families, and groups. I have worked in the field of personal growth and natural healing for over a decade, and have served youth and families in various roles since I was a teenager.
