My Ideal Client

I work with individuals and couples, young adults (18-25) and adults, who may feel stuck in cycles they have no control over. Whether it’s self-esteem, identity, purpose, anxiety, mindfulness, eating disorders or trauma, I’m honored when someone allows me to walk the halls of their mind with them.

My Background and Approach

My goal is to guide, support and empower you on your journey through awareness and empowerment and discover the narratives and cycles we can all so easily get stuck in. I aim to help those looking to better understand themselves, their patterns and their “whys”, and to help others heal from the experiences that often prevent them from achieving the sort of happiness they seek. I currently work in clinical outpatient treatment at the Oregon State Cascades Counseling Clinic. Current Masters student in the Oregon State University Clinical Mental Health Counseling program; offer clinical outpatient treatment. Prior to my Masters program, I attended the University of Oregon where I received a BA in Communications, and spent a year of undergrad in Spain studying intercultural communications. I have previously worked with the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals, as well as volunteered with an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy facility.

Why I Became a Therapist

I came from a family that ascribed to the belief that you keep your struggles to yourself, you most definitely don’t share them with a stranger, and you just “figure it out”. After years of struggling through trying to “figure it out”, I waded into the world of therapy and mindfulness and felt the clouds part and the blue skies shine through. I saw the beauty and the power first hand in connection with another individual who was there to aid in the illumination of my path back home to myself. I am passionate about connecting individuals with resources and tools that may assist them in deepening their growth and healing in and outside of our sessions. I personally find deep peace and connection in nature and movement, and work to incorporate somatic embodiment work through breath and movement.
