My Ideal Client

My clients are thoughtful, accomplished adults who look fine on the outside but are quietly carrying more than they should. Many are professionals, leaders, parents, or caregivers — the dependable ones — who are tired of being the strong one. They often come in feeling anxious, exhausted, or numb in ways no one would guess, ready for something deeper than surface-level coping. If that sounds familiar, you're in good company here.

My Approach to Helping

My approach is warm, collaborative, and unhurried. I work primarily from Internal Family Systems (IFS), an evidence-based therapy that helps you meet the parts of yourself that have been working hard to protect you — the perfectionist, the inner critic, the part that performs. IFS doesn't ask you to silence those parts. It helps you build a relationship with them so you can move through life with more steadiness. I integrate attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy, CBT, ACT, DBT, and mindfulness when concrete skills are useful, on a person-centered foundation that respects your pace. Sessions feel collaborative — get curious about what's underneath, and let real change happen rather than forcing it. I also offer Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), path for treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, trauma, and OCD. KAP combines preparation, medicine sessions, and integration work — it isn't a quick fix, but it can open doors that talk therapy alone hasn't.

More About the People I Treat

Many of my clients come in for what looks like a single concern — anxiety, depression, burnout, a trauma history, treatment-resistant symptoms — and discover that those concerns are tangled together. The high-functioning anxiety is connected to the perfectionism, which is connected to the childhood that taught you it wasn't safe to need anything. The people I work well with tend to share a few things: they think deeply, feel deeply, and have spent a long time managing both. Some are navigating burnout in demanding careers. Some are unwinding childhood emotional neglect or complex trauma. Some have done years of talk therapy and want to go deeper. Some are exploring KAP because antidepressants haven't gotten them where they want to go. Whatever brought you here, you don't have to keep performing wellness to deserve support. The work is honest, paced for you, and grounded in the belief that healing isn't about becoming someone new — it's about coming home to who you actually are.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Anxiety External link

Over the years, I have helped many clients who are struggling with anxiety. I help people to understand their triggers so they can develop new perspectives that reduce the impacts of stressful situations. I use evidence-based mindfulness approaches to help people manage and reduce the physical symptoms that come with anxiety. Over time, confidence in ability to understand, reframe and reduce intensity of anxiety symptoms is gained.

  • Depression External link

Depression can be overwhelming and leave people feeling hopeless that they will ever be able to live a fulfilling life. My experience working with people experiencing depression has given me tools to help people reconnect with the people and activities that bring interest back to life. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy and relational therapy approaches to help people increase their ability to identify goals and make changes to achieve the things that bring satisfaction

  • PTSD External link

I use Narrative Exposure Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Neurobiology to help people gain a sense of grounding and safety after traumatic experiences. Whether major life threatening incidents or painful emotional and relationship wounds, trauma can impact a person's ability to navigate life. I help people process and heal the emotional wounds in a safe space. You can also develop the tools to help cope with painful memories and begin to live a full life despite these experiences.
