My Ideal Client

I am a queer, non-binary, trans therapist and expressive arts therapist who is trauma-informed and kink, non-monogamy, and neurodiversity-affirming. I specialize in supporting transgender and non-binary individuals, and those navigating relationships, healing from trauma, building self confidence, or exploring new identities.

My Approach to Helping

Creativity and play are often part of my approach as an expressive arts therapist. We might design a D&D character that embodies a part of you, or use art, movement, music, writing, or role-play to explore what’s coming up in your life. I also draw on somatic methods like IFS and Brainspotting to support deeper processing and healing from trauma. As a therapist, I am warm, engaged, and curious. I cheer you on and see myself as a collaborator and facilitator as you work towards your goals. Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy befriending dogs, cooking gluten free treats, camping near water, and attending queer and sex positive events.

More About the People I Treat

Maybe you’ve made progress in your healing but still find old patterns or triggers resurfacing,or you’re noticing how past experiences are impacting your present life or relationships. You might be navigating a transition, exploring a new identity, or wanting to make a change in your relationships. I work best with: *Collaborative individuals *Folks who are curious about art therapy *Adult parentified children *Perfectionists *Folks looking to reconnect with their creativity or artistic practice *Queer, trans, and non-binary folks *Folks who want to explore their identity more deeply *Neurodivergent individuals *Folks who feel they've gotten what they can from talk therapy and need something else.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Expressive Art Therapy External link

Expressive arts therapy uses creative tools—like drawing, writing, movement, or music—to explore your experiences in ways that talking alone may not. No artistic background is needed. These approaches can help you understand emotions, notice patterns, and gain new perspective. This might look like creating D&D character that expresses some part of your identity, collecting photos of places that are grounding to you, or creating a playlist that reflects your emotional state.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) External link

Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is a way of understanding your mind that treats your thoughts, feelings, and impulses as different “parts” of yourself, rather than seeing them as problems. Some parts might feel protective, some might carry pain or shame, and some may hold your strengths and creativity. In IFS, we work to notice these parts, understand their roles, and help you communicate with them so that you can feel more integrated, grounded, and connected to yourself.

  • Brainspotting External link

Brainspotting is a somatic therapy approach that incorportes mindfulness in order to help you access and process emotions, memories, or experiences that may feel stuck in your body or mind. Many people notice a greater sense of calm, clarity, and emotional balance after sessions. It can also help you feel more connected to your body, process challenging memories, and access inner resources like resilience and confidence.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • LGBTQ Issues External link

As a queer, trans, nonbinary therapist, I understand firsthand some of the challenges and joys that can come with navigating identity, relationships, and the current political climate. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, creating a space where you can explore your authentic self, process experiences, and build resilience. I am here to support you in feeling seen, understood, and empowered in all aspects of your identity.

  • Polyamorous and Open Relationships External link

I provide individual therapy that is affirming of polyamorous and non-monogamous experiences and that is kink and sex positive. As someone who is non-monogamous myself, I understand the unique challenges and joys of these relationship styles. Together, we can explore communication, boundaries, jealousy, and personal growth in a supportive, nonjudgmental space.
